Just sorted the insurance on the Boxer Cup with AQuote.
I own three bikes (lucky/stupid) so took out a multibike policy last year.
I paid 50 quid to insure my Ariel NH350 1953 back in August ... fair enough I thought as it's only worth about £1000 and is 'classic'.
Then added my Triumph Bonnie (2001) at the same time ... for 60 quid ... odd I thought as I was paying about £200 for that alone.
Just added the BMW today for £36 and 20 quid of that was an admin charge!
WTF?
So I have insured three bikes for about £150 when I paid 250 for the BMW alone last year!
I just don't get it ... do they assume I am an old codger (ahem) because I have a 1000 quid Ariel? (35 years old / 2 years NCB)
How does that work? Insurance is a complete mystery to me.
Buy a 'classic' save on insurance?!

Hey Mark
Yep - seems to be worthwhile to buy a 'classic' non-runner (or box of parts with a V5 from an autojumble?) - insure it on multibike and then add your GSXRRRRRR as an additional bike
You built that GOV 132 rep yet?
All the best, Lee.
