track day

Hi, all. i'm going on a track day 22nd march. Have done a few before but this is the first on my boxercup. Anyone got any advice specific to the boxer beemer?

I'm doing one too on 22nd April on my '04 BCR at Brands. Like you, have done a couple of track days before, but mostly on Jap sportsbikes. Should be interesting on the BCR.

There are other threads on these forums, and most folk tend to think that dropping the tyre pressures by a few psi tends to work for this bike. Track handling is rated highly, so depending on your braking bravery, you may be able to get some notable scalps !

Looking forward to mine on the Brands Indy circuit, so shouldn't lose out too much on top end speed to other sportsbikes.

I'd take off all the goodies that are made of unobtainium( bellypan,headcovers etc) 'cos if you bin it, you'll save yourself a small fortune

oh, and ride it like you stole it
