Belly Pan / Tail Tidy
Hey guys, I was just wondering where I might find a NON-Carbon Fibre belly pan for my bike as I want to paint it... and i have found that paint carbon fibre looks funny. Also $2,600 US for it is a bit much I think. Second, I would like to know of a way of cleaning up the crap under the tail. I hate that damn can that sits on the right side of the bike. I just want a cleaner look over all. Let me know if you have suggestions. Thanks.

There is someone on Ebay that is selling them, and a thread on this site that discusses them, with a link to the vendor.
As far as I remember - the purchaser wondered how much work would be needed to prepare for painting and was told by the paint company that they required almost nothing -as the quality was so good.
I think they were fairly cheap (£40-£70?)
Of course - you will need to sort out mounts if you don't already have them.

There's several available on Ebay all the time. Quality is good; I have one. Just a little sanding is all the prep it needs for paint. Very smooth gelcoat finish. Does come without mounting parts as Al mentions.
They usually go for about 60 euro, BCR mounting kit from BMW sets you back approximately $140. Lots cheaper than $2600.

Guys thanks a lot. Off to Ebay I go. I couldn't find the thread on the forums about the pan that you mentioned though. Any chance you might have a link? If not no worries.
