I saw one of those (soon to be common as muck) in the flesh a couple of weeks ago - they look great, and loads better than they do in pictures. Nice one Bob!

I think you meant "adventurous" rather than "radical"
Nice new toy Bob. Looks a bit hernia inducing if you were unfortunate enough to drop it tho'...
Sorry I can't make it to the Ace tomorrow old chum.
Cheers,
Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Makes sense - I was going to hazard a guess at the new
08 Blade , but read the comments about the pipe and slippers, so thought It'd be a wrong guess
Hope you've kept some money aside for all the compulsory "bling" that is now required
Enjoy it!

Saw a coupla GS's out at Dalkeith today, that were being picked up by their owners - (one Adv, the other - the "baby" GS
) and both were fitted with Conti Trail Attacks, which looked distinctly "road orientated".
In the case of the Adv - it was "just what it came with............"
It'd take a special tyre to tempt me away from the Tourance.

Mine came fitted with Michelin Anakee which are shite.
They will be changed next week for Avon Storm road tyres which are fantastic.
I don't need the semi off road style as I try not to be a Ewan/Charlie wannabe
Oh and by the way Blackal it's not the baby GS it's the Mother GS as it came first and spawned the Adventure.

And I thought the Adventure was just a regular GS with scaffolding up while it was being repainted.

Congratulations Bob, nice bike, you've made the red even rarer
! What's it got on it?
I was looking at the new GS during the week, had a suspicion that's what it was going to be for you, so didn't try to buy your footrests.
BTW what road tyres were you using on the rare red beast. The Tourances are geeting to the end of their life, or certainly will be after Wales.
Cheers

Well ... congrats Bob. Lost the last of your wild hairs (= Dutch saying translated to English
), did you?
That one 's for sure to blend in nicely with ... uh ... all the other GS's on the road. Your helmet is still red thank goodness (or isn't it: you bought a silver coloured flip-up helmet along with your new steed?)
