As it appens(sic), yes, Im a mobile engineer based at home, but if no jobs come in I still get paid, bargain.

What are you doing on my old patch? Just think I was paid to patrol those roads for 7 years.

There are only 2 traffic cars for the whole area from Crickhowell to Hay on Wye to Sennybridge and that's if both are on.
I could tell you some stories about the road you have parked your bike on.
You don't want to be up there in bad weather.

I did the same road about a week ago, very different, howling winds and icy, still stopped at Storey Arms for a brew though.

Oh yes, and for the map watchers amongst us, yes its the A4059, about a 10 mile stretch that runs from Hirwaun to the A470 in the heart of the Brecon Beacons as Budman noted.

you are a lucky man...i was stuck up in Preston under a BUS all day long!
the weather was georgous and i was 250 miles away from my bikes...
at least you enjoyed your day...
