Post by timbox2 »

I do on occasions consider myself very fortunate, today was one of those occasions, 10am, no jobs phoned in from the office, so what to do??

What are you doing on my old patch? Just think I was paid to patrol those roads for 7 years.

There are only 2 traffic cars for the whole area from Crickhowell to Hay on Wye to Sennybridge and that's if both are on.

I could tell you some stories about the road you have parked your bike on.

You don't want to be up there in bad weather.

I did the same road about a week ago, very different, howling winds and icy, still stopped at Storey Arms for a brew though.

Oh yes, and for the map watchers amongst us, yes its the A4059, about a 10 mile stretch that runs from Hirwaun to the A470 in the heart of the Brecon Beacons as Budman noted.

Tim, you stop at Storey Arms for a Cuppa!!!

I will tell you about that place in April, but in the mean time don't flash your lights at anybody.
