Hi, can does anyone know of an independent specialist in the Herts/Beds/Bucks area?

Just done a 36K sevice on my '99 1100S and have been unable to cure the engine idle speed cycling - the right pot seems to drag the rpm down to 900 from 1050 and then back up again and repeat - during TB synching. Has never stalled but often feels very close. Occasionally pops on overrun but nowhere near as much as it used to.

Remus, K&N and NGK plugs otherwise standard.

Hi
Have you tried taking out the large brass screws and giving them a clean. They can get dirty and make it hard to get a even tickover.
What are your using to synch to TB,s ?
Are the cables adjusted and seated correctly ?
Are the big brass screws evenly adjusted at present ?

I live in Sandy (Beds) and work in Cambridge, but I still go to Bemer Bikes for servicing cos I used to be a Lunduner. Innit.
