Hi,
I own a 2004 R1100S since 6 weeks and I'm sure it was first choice. It took me only a few kilometers to feel it: Here I'm one with my bike.
Joining this site happened by accident. A guy in a german Boxer forum is member of this site, too. So I became aware of it.

And please be patient and lenient towards me concerning my average English - do my best to improve it.

Hi Hawkwind - welcome to the group. :)

Please don't worry about your English - I'm sure it's a lot better than my German!!

Welcome Hawkwind,

Glad you are enjoying your new ride and hope you enjoy your stay with us on the site.

Why not try to get over to the UK and come to one of our weekend forum gatherings.

I would not worry about your English, it seems very good to me.

Andrew

Hi Hawkwind, say hello to Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters for me (Bob Calvert Hawkwind) . My frau is from Frankfurt. If you ever manage to ride over to Britain check out Wales, the roads are brilliant.

Herzlich willkommen Hawkwind. I'm sure you'll feel at home here pretty quickly.
Oh, and you can go to Wales if you like. It's so good there that some Welshmen moved to Scotland. :D

Thaks all of you for affiliating me. This is my first 'trip' to England and I'm still a little bit nervous. But with so many friendly and nice bikers on my side ...

See you

Hi Lars,

seems to be a great bunch here. I love it! It's still a little bit difficult for me to follow the threads but I work hard on it.
By the way: Did you disassemble half of your bike, too only to run the power cable for your smartire system properly?
