Nightmare scenario: Our brave boys beat those cheese eating surrender monkeys to get into the final, where we play... Scotland... and lose.

England playing Scotland in the final would however be an excellent way to show those southern hemisphere Johnnies, who assumed they would just waltz up here and have it all their own way, not to be so damned cocky!

We had an empire once, you know.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

So - the final will be between a northern hemisphere side and a southern hemisphere side.

Has this thread got anything to do with England beating Sri Lanka by two wickets (under Duckworth-Lewis rules) in the ODI? If not, I'm going back to sleep.

As you can imagine I've been innundated with heart felt congratulations from my Scottish co-workers on England's fine performance, they've all assured me they'll be willing the boys on in the semi. :P (didn't actually specify which boys)

In turn I have been very sensitive to plucky Scotland's demise at the hands of the Argies. :(

Honest

Cheers
