Yeh right
Nope
Just dreaming. Dont say anything to BMWFAHRER, but I like the practicality of the 12 and the HP is going to be purely thrash-time. The fact is that you can get a chunky power increase out of the standard 1200 too and from what ive heard at least match the stock HP
I'm totally sold on the 1200s, for the first time in years Im settled.

Really?
I can get 50 miles more to the tank on the 1200, no problem (180-200 compared to 115-120 before the light)
I have a venture rack fitted which is fine for weekends away, plus you can get luggage
Im comfier on the 12 than I ever was on the 11
My BCR didnt have a centre stand, nor does the 12
I must be mising sommat, I think it's practical and bloody good fun.

I'm with you on that one. I've done a track day and a tour around Europe on mine and it was great at both. The only thing it won't really do is carry a passenger in comfort.

The practical solution is to get pillion her own bike. Where there's a will there's a way.

What feck would you know about riding a motorcycle!!!,for someone who is just about to vanish into a large black hole for the next 20 years who's experience of motorcycling in the said time will amount to what me and Mr Boxerpan tell him about what we've been up to,i'd say your on pretty thin ice you cheeky little shit!!!
Christ you couldn't make sunday,'I'm still hammered from last night' wait till your two impending sprogs have had you up all night,we'll see how tuff you talk then !!!!!!
