bit less yellow.............

Post by Blackal »

........ but slightly more rapid :headbang:

Daytona is going, and in its place is this little tinker............

Image

...... and so begins the usual purchase of essentials:

Double bubble screen
Tail Tidy
Inforad "accident blackspot" detector
GPS/Camera mount
New indicators

Handling seems even better than the Daytona and the grunt is far better :dink

Nice one Mr Al...and I reckon you've been using my garage doors as a photographic backdrop... ;)

Phantabulous colour scheme on the R1 too. Looks sweet. :)

What's LC?

Red speed blocks on white?

Not sure about that - yellow's faster in any case

Doing a bit of "musical bikes" this afternoon and thought: "Kodak moment" :thumbleft:

(not quite in Ron's league :( )

Before anyone asks......... the box is a topbox on the CS Adv, not a tankbag on the Daytona

The BCR is on the stand getting the original rear shock refitted after I bust the banjo bolt off the Wilbers. Might just take it out tomorrow to see what the difference in handling is :?

Nice bike Al :glasses2: , when are we going to see it up Glen Ogle? Andrew and I were up there today, bacon rolls were up to the usual standard I'm pleased to say. :D

Cheers

Nice bike Al, but only BMW's are allowed for a bacon butty (only joking). So what was wrong with the Wilbers?

I broke the banjo for the remote preload, so sent it back to the supplier and also asked them to sort out the height as the free length is 12mm app shorter than stock. The details supplied to them were spot on and the box even stated that it was for the 04 BCR.

What size number plate did you have on your BCR last time we were out? I need a smaller one for the R-1

.......... and if you'd asked me along to Glen Ogle............ I would have paid for the feckin' bacon butties

You been out on the 1200s yet?

Al,

The number plate was a 7x5.

Did 300 miles on the 'S' this weekend, of painfully slow miles.

I am off this weekend, if the weather is good then i'll buy the rolls, how about that.
