More on the R1200S HP endurance racer

Post by hjr1100s »

The German magazine Motorrad has an article about the endurance racer in their latest BMW special.

Interesting stuff: they claim more then 135 HP, above 9000 RPM. There are also pictures of the engine parts after the race to show the wear and tear: it still looks fresh. However BMW didn't allow pictures to be taken from the cilinder heads, cams and valve drive train (?).
