Laser Pipes - crack in weld

Hi Folks, a crack has developed in my Laser cans at the first weld after the Y-piece where the tube splits into two. Anyone else had this problem? Shall I just get it rewelded to fix?
Has anyone else noticed that some of the tubing is not stainless and looks a bit rusty.
Cheers
Julian

They are stainless. Just not high grade stainless. And contrary to popular opinion, lower grades of stainless steel will not only stain (see header pipes...) but also rust. Just not as much or as fast as mild steel.

this is the second set of Lasers I have had.
The connecting pipes on both were pretty rusty even after treating with exhaust paint.

Doh
Bring it round and I will weld it for you.
Bob
By the way
Just about ANY grade of stainless will show signs of corrosion/rust when heated.
Stands back and waits for the university types to contradict.
Second bottle of red on the way.
Julian give me a call but not too early hic
