Cheers Madman.
I did a search of all the listings on this site and some mention them... but no definte answer. Failing this the neatest and most professional looking kit is the Barbacks from Rapidog.net... They look nice, safe but 255 $ £128. Expensive.
I think the look of the std bars put above the yoke is a little tatty.
I cannot seem to find the std BMW comfort bars anywhwere???
Thanks for your response..

Good luck.
You could of course raise the low bars above the Yoke and see how you like it. Better if you have a bike with ABS they have longer brake hoses

try this also
http://www.suburban-machinery.com/ they have a cheap option to complete the lower bars to high position

Looks like I'm wrong, but those bars don't look like the ones I had on the 04 K1200.

That is one ugly/over-engineered/intrusive/unnecessary/ugly GPS mount. Sure, it looks well engineered, but so's the Forth bridge - doesn't mean I'd stick it on my bike, though

Indeed - and more importantly he's
still got the chrome bezels on the intruments. Barf.

Er...I've still got mine too - quite like them. What's the alternative?

Take em off and give to ya missus as a pair of hooped earrings!
The clocks look a load better without em,trust us.
Little screw driver under the chrome bezel and prise off. They are held on with sticky tape.

I have now bought a set of K1200Rs std bars for the S.... It seems a lot of the early bikes have converted to the comfort version and there seems to be quite a lot for sale on Fleebay.
The pic above shows them below the top yoke... which I would have thought gave little advantage over std S bars.
I will fit above the yoke and let you all know the result.
Personally I like the std set up on the S, but my wife says she gets a lot of turbulence between us.... if she leans forward to close up the gap, it hurts her back... so I wll see if this improves the situation.
Keep you all posted
