After recently having a front tyre fitted at a local BMW dealer, I gave my front wheel the once over and all looked ok, should have moved it a little, cos hidden in the shadows were 3 little chips out of my otherwise mint wheel, so I go on my merry way and only notice a couple of days later, so as time has passed and I know what the answer would be if i asked them " ooh no we wouldnt have done that"..I decided to ring up for a touch-up stick, shock horror 3 dealers I rang said we wont be selling them anymore, not even for new bikes, something to do with europe and legislation about oil based paints, anyway to stop rambling I rang around a few places RS paint wanted about £32.95 for color and lacquer in a lipstick sized bottle, a quick call to Moto-bins £11 inc p&p for Pacific blue paint and the lacquer. I'm sure theres a moral in this story somewhere, maybe "trust no-one" or " shop around". Even though the chips were microscopic and now you would need a spy glass to see them...I know they are there.
