Hopefully, someone on here will have experience of the OEM stand and others. I can only comment on the OEM version. It's very well built but has three major drawbacks [possibly]. I say possibly because I've not had it on my 11S yet but, on the Rockster [it's the same stand but with modified height adjusters], if you leave the nearside passenger footpeg down you risk chopping your fingers off when you drop the bike back onto the ground after servicing!
The other drawbacks are the price [but then you'd expect that from BM] and the sprung-loaded locking pin. In the case of the latter, you'll need to spray as much WD40 into the mechanisms as you can, or it'll sieze.
However, in use [on the Rockster] it's very solid and gives confidence that the bike isn't about to crash to the ground.
Good hunting.

The ebay one above is the OEM version [although it's not really BMW, it's just marketed by them] and, as I said, it has some drawbacks [the one pictured is already rusty on the spring-loaded shaft and is quite pricey with 8 days to go].
The ABBA version looks identical to one I have in my shed [for a previously owned Tedium], so, if you can be arsed to buy the correct adapters for the 11S and if you are in reasonable riding distance of Gatwick, you are welcome to take that one away. It'll never get used where it is currently, so you might as well make use of it.

the adapter for the 1100s cost me £20 IIRC
remember that this stand can be used for (just about) any bke you ever own with the correct adapter. I used to have the Bmw stand but I found that it didn't lift the rear wheel enough to be stable.

Hi Steve
I'm not entirely sure ['cause I'm not all that computer "literate"] but I think I've sent you a "PM" with my contact details. If you don't receive it come back on here and I'll repeat the 'phone details.
Cheers, Steve

Alternatively i'll sell you a Genuine BM stand as per the E-bay one but in a dam site better condition for 45 quid.

That'll be no good on a Boxercup - the bike's too tall for the stand so it'd be just flapping around in the breeze if you fitted it to the bike. And, because it fits where the centrestand lugs are on the frame, it's also where the BCR's bellypan bolts onto ie you'd have to removed the threaded rubber bushes every time you want to use it.
Get yourself an Abba - it's simple, v sturdy and it works. And you can use it on any bike providing you've got the fitting kit for it (about 15-20 quid as has been said).

most peeps seem to favour abba stands and i was going to buy one but my 1100 has a centre stand so i didn't need to but i had a good look at the nec and abba certainly look good in the flesh!

If you have a belly pan fitted it has to be the Abba or the ones that fit the rear footrests but these look a bit wobbly. Thats my two penny worth.
