Hi Folks.... Yes I've done it.!!! I was tinkering with my bike ... as you do. Oh, I will remove that rusty bolt and change it for a nice S/S one...Disaster!!
Even though I used Penetrating fluid.... even though I gently tweeked it both backward and forwards before any major action. It was the speed sensor retaining bolt. I then attempted to drill it to use an extractor, or simply to drill it out and re tap. The drill dug in and snapped.... can this get worse... yes.. I did not know how far to drill, I assumed it was a blind hole, or you would end up in the rear drive cavity!! So I assume the drill has dug in to the bottom and I cannot get it out.
Any solutions or ideas.... Please do not suggest I replace the whoile of the back end
I have plugged the sensorback in for now there seems a good resistance and should hold.... Is there enough pressure in the rear unit to force it out with out the retaining bolt??
HELP

Mate - I did that about 3 years ago. It's still just pushed in and has never had a problem. Leave it be and don't worry any more about itsnavetrauts wrote:Hi Folks.... Yes I've done it.!!!
