R1100S Prep suspension

Post by bikerdude »

I am interested in changing the spring rates on my SBR and am looking for a source of parts. Currently fitted with OEM Showa sport shocks particular to this model. Any help appreciated,

I don't think you can do anything to the OE Showas.
You need to upgrade to a set of Ohlins or similar depending on how much punishment your wallet will handle!

RK,

Go for a set of Wilber Race shocks, contact a John Borella, Email below

jvborella@snet.net

He is a supplier in the States. The shocks are excellent quality and are made to your requirements and with the exchange rate will be a lot cheaper than the UK and they are sent direct from Germany so no import duyt to pay.

If you contact him tell him that I gave you his details and that yuo are on the Boxertrix site.
