I couldn't justify trading it in and spending another 4-5k on having the same but newer so would have gone for an ADV, but then why do I need the extra weight and globe-busting fuel range?
So I've gone for something different.

....and kept the GS for touring and two-upping.

Although it won't be doing much more of that with the S around!
I test rode the S earlier this year and loved it, but would never have had it instead of the GS for the reasons above. As a toy and a bike just for fun its great - It goes like stink! Fantastically smooth engine and gear box! Smooth ride too thanks to the Ohlins...mmmmmmmm!
