1100s oil filter tool

Post by dali's moustache »

Best price for one of these?
Came to fettle the beemer this morning [new purchase, 48 hours old] and bugger me if the oil filter ain't buried up in the motor.
Do I need a 76mm 14 flute spanner for this filter? If so, then the best price I've located so far is £7 - plus £3 postage. Am I likely to pick one up cheaper?

Thanks!

Yup, 7 or 8 quid is about right. As for diameter and number of sides haven't a clue - just call Motorworks and tell them what it's for. £7.60.

As you have just spent money on the bike I would say that £10 is not bad for a tool that will save loads. I must have used mine quite a few times now, You are welcome to borrow it if you want to come and collect it, will save you a tenner!

The tool is exactly the same as used on all K's, 4 valve twins (not 1200's excluding the C).
