AutoGlym Motorcycle Cleaner

This last weekend, on the Trixter Trip Oop North, the bikes got pretty damn filthy. However, no job too difficult for AutoGlym's M/c cleaner...

How it started (made we want to cry getting my baby all filthy)...

Getting there...note the use of Haynes manuals for raising the stand (VFR too of course)

Richard,

You can come and do mine as it is still sat in the garage dirty. There again I wont be taking the panels off to clean it till winter.

I have the same stuff, but what do you use as a brush.

The best one is the one your woman uses to do the dishes in the kitchen.
Seriously....just buy an Addis washing up brush.Just the right size and a useful angle on the head.

Indeed - I've got a washing-up one, about 50p I think it was from the local Asian 'whatever you need we've got it' store.

For doing the engine I've got the AutoGlym cleaning brush (something like 'Hi-tech Brush' it's called). I've had this thing for something like 10 years and it's totally brilliant. Doesn't go out of shape when used with hot water and works superbly on the engine and cylinder fins etc. Just spray the cleaner on and, using plenty of elbow grease, get angry with the brush.

Here you go - one of these:

Costs about a tenner(!) but is really good - like I say I've had mine for yonks and use it every time I clean the bike.

actually we got some '96 margaux in august

- not a case of it though - i already have one morgage!

I cleaned mine on sunday just before the rain locked on to St Helens, which saved me having to rinse it meself
