Are the cylinder head covers of a standard single spark S the same as the single spark Boxercup Rep covers? i.e can you fit the original carbon head covers on to a standard S without changing the cylinder head covers themselves?

cheers

Yes, it is a no. To clarify the bolt positions are different from twin to single sparg, but you can get the covers for both.

The rocker cover (not magnesium but alloy) for the single spark BCR has got two threaded holes for the screws that hold the carbon cover in place. Those holes are not present on the normal 1100S magnesium covers.

Of course you could drill and tap holes in your magnesium covers, but I don't think that the covers are thick enough for a 'blind' hole, so then you would have to find a way of sealing them.
