New member's BMW history

Hi, a mate has recently gave me this very useful webiste, but have had R1100S's for about 4 years. Started off with a R11000S in 2002 bought 5 days before trip to IOM for Manx GP. Did a few improvements-Y piece, laser pipes and chip, Ohlins etc. Had a problem at 11000 miles when clutch splines stripped. (Too long a story for here :!: )

Part ex'd for GS1150 Adventure complete with off road package, after 3 weeks realised what a BIG mistake! Part exd 6 months later for a new BCR in 05. (Luckily because of Ewan and Charlie everyone wanted one, and the dealer snapped my hand off when it went in for a service) Now very happy again :D

Never thought I would ride a BMW in my life, been riding since 1978 when I had a T140V. rode most things in this time. but the R1100S changed my view.
