Front mudguard

Post by Lightrunner »

Noticed at the weekend that my front mudguard has a crack in it and a 'spider web' of other cracks that haven't gone all the way through the material yet. Having looked at the price of replacements and decided that it's a bit steep for my wallet at present I was hoping to try and effect some kind of repair.

I've read a few threads were others have mentioned they've done repairs but was after a few pointers on what people have used to do the repair?

Cheers

I cracked mine in a mudguard/pheasant interface situation  . Repaired it with glass fibre resin and mat which worked fine. :) Eventually replaced it with an Ilmberger when Nigel was having a sale but the original will go back on when I sell the bike.

Cheers
