This maybe a stupid question to those of you in the know. The plastic piece of bodywork that runs below the seat from the tail unit to the tank. The right hand one seems loose, Ive looked all over but I cant work out how to tighten it or for that matter get it off. There seems to be a fixing behind the master cylinder for the rear brake, but if thats the case there's no way to get to it. Has any any helpful hints or tips

if you remove the seat, you will see two hex head button screws holding the panel in place, one near the front and one at the back. Undo these two using the smallest allen key in the under seat toolkit and gently pull the panel away from the bike (you may have to undo one of the screws holding the front fairing on where the front and rear fairing panels meet uunder the front of the seat). You will then see that on the back of the rear panel there is are two lugs which insert into matching rubber grommets (?) on the rear subframe. If your rear fairing panel has been rattling, chances are the lugs are not securely pushed into the grommets on the rear sub-frame. It should be a 5 minute disassemble and reassembly process.

Thanks for that Paul, I'd removed the 2 screws before but it still seemed that it was being held on with others, I didn't want to force it just in case. Now I can check the rear brake fluid level at last

On re-assembly a little grease around the grommit helps
