Steve Carlton photoshopped me on a R12S...

...yep ; that's what the man did...
...Steve (US-Pelican board member) used Jason M's picture (the one with the orange 'don't-get-your-leather-gloves-get-wet' gloves), and photoshopped me on a R12S ; a similar bike to the one we bought yesterday...
...yes ; we (because husband & wife now...) bought a second hand R12S yesterday. First registration was 30 June 2006, so this beauty is just about 27 days young. From a private seller, and with only 381 (238 miles !) kilometers on the digi-screen...
...this 12S has : ABS, wider rear rim, pillion seat cover, heated grips, Öhlins, a paddockstand, a pair of very sticky Michelin tires, and with these white, or clear indicator lenses (front & rear)...
...going to pick it up somewhere next week...
...and the BCR... ; is 4-sale now...

The "trademark" orange gloves!
Going to Germany on holiday on Saturday, but by the sounds of things...the 1200s needs a demo when I get back.
So many bikes, so little money!
Enjoy the bike!

Gus, I think HRJ was refering to the orange gloves ; not the cloves (or clothes)...
...BTW ; this was the original pic...(before Steve C. shopped it...)
...and this is Jason M's picture...(at the Cat & Fiddle)
...oh...latest news : I'm going to pick the 1200 up tomorrow (Saturday)

GLOVES! That's what I said ....
... didn't I?
Dutch swear words:
eikel, pronounce as 'aickle'
hufter, pronounce as 'hufftre'
klootzak, pronounce as 'cloth zac'
... better stop now

It's getting nasty.
Ofcourse, me, I never use this kind of language. These words were taken from some obscure interenet site ...
Sorry to conteminate your thread Ron

but they made me do it...
.... hush, I say HUSH!! .... voices in my head, got to go now... got to go and find a ..... got to go, got to goooooooooo

…I’m terribly sorry lads ; I think our friend Henk has some serious trouble with the heat over here…; every day up to 30 degrees or more, for more than 3 weeks now…
…there must be something boiling in, or under Henk’s helmet…
…I gently ask you : please forget the swear words he is trying to teach you ; it gives you nothing but SERIOUS trouble…
…it is simply not done to ask something in this way : “….hey ‘aickle’, a beer over here…, and fast...”
…or the guy IS truly a serious ‘aickle’ ; than it is permitted…, but please : be careful !
Thanx !
