Had a couple bale on me. Some cock & bull story about being extradited to the US in connection with the Enron thing. Ha!
So, I've got a couple of slots for next weekend. Last minute, I know, but that's like saying it's a last minute invitation to share a bathful of chocolate buttons with J-Lo
G'wan! You know you want to!

Very interested...except...
There is something happening in Germany tomorrow which has a direct bearing on what I might need to be doing next weekend...
On the other hand...I have ohlins to test, and a fancy dress party to avoid...
Can you PM me details please?

Well! What a VERY pleasant weekend that was! Sunday was the highlight with the entire group crammed into the communal hall watching the final on a giant screen with horns, face paint and scantily clad...errrr....supporters
The draught beer flowed and we had an absolute hoot. For those of you who have yet to meet the elusive Herr Townshend he comes with a fulsome FLASH 4 cow recommendation with a Remus rampant. Had a great time, John, see you next year!
(...and in September?????)

How often does that happen!?!? And the support
was impressive!
Run out of superlatives, but I had a fantastic time!!!!!
Not just the roads (5 days of sunny, traffic free, gatso free, police free, considerate fellow road using, never ending brilliance with but a couple of klicks multi-lane; and that was only at Le Havre), but absolutely everything (my fellow riders, countryside & people, house, rooms, gardens, food, wine and,
especially, our hosts!!!)! All
perfect!!!
I've been forced to spend this Morning sitting in a cafe...quietly beaming...wondering how it's possible to cover so many miles and feel so relaxed and happy...
I was sorely tempted to say it was all rubbish in the hope that the September slot might stay open, but...sigh...we shall see...
Thank you!!!!
