Introducing me and my bike...

Post by girlR1100S »

Hi there,

Last weekend I met somebody who told me about this site and I took a look at it, and registered.

I am driving my third R1100S at the moment..
The first one left because it went with my ex boyfriend (mandarin 98 version)
The second one left me due to theft (black 99 version)
Now I ride a 2002 Model in Frostblue....

I am really quite happy with the bike allthough some modifications are still on my wishlist..
- Chip
- Carbon Hugger
- Carbon undertray
- Getting rid of the cat...

I am Dutch and live close to the racing track of Assen, in fact... I can walk the distance.. which is quite handy when it is really crowded during TT races and SBK races.

This bike I bought at the end of June and so far I have driven 6.000 kilometers with it. It already took a stroll through Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Italy...

Greetzzz.. Girl S

Hey great picture. I saw a couple of Dutch S's down here the other day but not sure if there were any females riding them. I thought that my wife was the only female S rider round here.

Just a little update...

Two trips planned for this year.
Next week to Germany for just four days and a month later I will staying in Austria, Slovenia, Italy... only six days but wil be perfectly okay.
On the S you can drive the whole distance to Austria (1.000 km) in a day and hardly can call yourself wrecked..
I wouldn't like to try that one on a R1 Yamaha...
