I've had my HID for a time now,i've got two mates who don't do the internet who are driveing me nuts to get a couple for them,a very kind man on this board got them last time at £80 a piece all in,anyone come across cheaper??

And if that is the bottom line i think the basic order is 4interested!!.

try this link, £189 a pair Juilan and I split the kit before they dropped the price. I wouldn't mind splitting a high beam kit now as even a PIA blue bulb looks yellow in comparison. I am sure they would do an H7 pair for the same price if asked nicely.

I found this link http://www.raglite.de/index2.htm on the German S site. It seems that they are selling kits for two H1 dipped beam for 199 euro - less than £140.

With the bike jacked up at the back has anyone figured how to raise the beam to get it back at the correct setting? Mine is angled way to too low and the adjusters dont extend emough.

Was thinking of maybe a 5mm high ridge of silicon across the top of the front fairing where the headlight light bolts into.

Funny you should say that ,cuz when Gus and I put ours in,mine was fine but thinking the other day it looked low!!

One my 99S with Ohlins rear at full height extension and GS torque arm the beam height is fine, I don't know if there were any changes in later models, woudln't have thought so. Mabey I just such a fat heavy bastard that it brings it up high !


Anyway, as those former colonials would say are we talking about a "Group Buy" cue general histeria and loads of inane questions about everything from the colour of the box to where the blds are made . . . . . not that I'm suggesting that they talk sh!te or anything, though they do, most of the time.......

It was low on the MOT meter. On dark nights the beam really could do with a bit of further ''throw' up the road.

Jason what does each kit consist of 1 or 2 bulbs ? I'm presuming ballast, relay, loom blah blah blah is included in the kit ????

The kits are 2 bulbs and necessary fittings - I think he will send a 1/2 kit. The bulb fits straight into the H1 slot, the 12V connection takes the existing connections from the headlight - plug and play (Though 'earth' is black and live is white I think?) From the headlight connection the charge goes to a ballast box (mine is cable tied onto the right hand relay box) then the high voltage cable goes from the ballast box to the bulb. All you need to do is cut a small hole in the gaiter so as the connections can get to the bulb, and cable tie up the rest of the spare wire. I think the last kit took about 3 days to come from the US and we didn't pay any customs, but that's not to say you would always be so lucky

I've already got the Low beam on the S but I'm toying with another idea on the Pan...... Do you know if the chap can get the Bi-Xeneon kits that are on the go now ?
