I currentlty run the Bosch ones but have a set of Brisk that I'll be trying next.

I get mine from Darren at Motorworks.

Bosch FR6DP,i delved into the Brisk thing some time back, they have several centers that fit them in Holland!!! then i found out that there were two differnt specs depending on what you had done to your bike!!,and thought if it's that finer line, they can forget it.

Jason uses e'm,i think!!

I'm looking at the Brisks now and they certainly look the part - think Frankenstein's Monster's neck electrodes.

On that basis plus the fact that the Czech for spark plugs is "Zapalovaci Svicka" they get the southern quiche eaters' vote.

Just make sure you get the right one, there are two different plugs for the S(in the Brisk range),when i enquired through a Dutch source they wouldn't e'm to me without seeing the bike, started to think Malc BBP chip syndrome!!!

There's two ways to do things in life, the easy way is a lot less stressfull!!! engine wise at least.

Adjusted valve clearances and fitted Brisk plugs. Certainly feels a lot smoother. Will report back further after adjusting throuttle bodies tonight.

...when I asked for the Brisks, the gave me a negative advice. On a stock bike : Ok, but with a aftermarket chip (I use a Laser) : don't do it !

...do you want a smoother engine : a good throttle balancing job, high octane fuel, chip, free flow exhaust, free flow filter, and what gave a BIG improvement in smoothness ; a bigger induct (I use such a CF one).
...all-in-all a 'bit' noisy, but smooooooth...! (especially in the 5000+ RPM range)

Same set up as me then. I might change them back to the Bosch Platties. I got the Brisks from Motorworks after speaking to Darren. :?

Thank you for the advice

I've spoken to Darren at motoworks.
I will be fitted brisks plugs in the next couple of days
also ordered a new oil filter and attachment for the oil filter.

Is there an NGK equivalent that works well?

NGK were always the best on the old Alfas and I have a bit of a soft spot for them.

I did have the url to a site where you can cross-reference the different makers' plug specs. I'll try and find it for you.

I always use an NGK Iridium (B8HVX in this case) in my MZ - overkill perhaps but the difference in engine smoothness is marked, to say the least. They're about 6 quid each, and worth every penny.

FR6DP's do work well in the BM's.

There is a recommended NGK!! I just wondered if it is any good!!

Another good reason is that I think I have good trade access to NGK.
