Am going to attempt the removal of the R6 rear shock tomorrow to get it reconditioned.
Am mildly mechanically minded but having never attempted said task, armed with a Haynes manual and a garage full of tools and me dad, any top tips....
Comments appreciated.

Bike is fairly clean (track only use) so shock is now removed and to be posted to ohlins refurb people.... temporary steel post bolted in to hold the bike up on the paddock stand - all seemed to come apart easily enough with the bike dangling from the garage roof... apart from the annoying phantom second spacer which we're sure we heard bounce off something.
can we find it......
lets hope that reassembly is as straightforward (no chance)
Bring on the spring.
