my 24k service cost £440 at South London BMW... I think the 48k on my old r1100r was over £500... but i was under the impression from gromit that you did all your work yourself... or are you branching into servicing for the next couple of months...?

I do do all my own servicing etc.I'm doing my accounts and my accountant has asked for servicing prices!

Just need some ball park figures ta.

in that case - bmw south london told me to expect a bill of £500 for the 24k on the s, but it only came to £440... and then they very kindly ended up doing another 2 pages worth of work... under warranty - thank god!!

Bottom line - £110 for a minor service / £210 major service. Based on Rods figures you could easily double those figures.

Sounds like South London are a bunch of ******* ripoffs. £130 minor 6k £240 major 12k is more like it. You must be paying for the privilege of living in our wonderful capital.
