Hi all
Can anyone confirm that the clutch plate out of a GS1100 is the same as our S.

Gus, I have checked the BMW ETK and there are different part numbers listed for these models. I looked at the post 97 GS and the 2002 S. There may be some models that have different parts for different production runs, but at a glance it doesn't look interchangable.

Yeah.....the early GS 1100 was cable actuated clutch with 5 speed box.
Ofcourse the S is a hydraulic clutch and six speed box.....and marvelous sticky out bits for clowting cyclists :D

At a guess I'd say all the models with hydraulic clutch and six speed box up till the 1200 engines.
