Hi here's my first impressions after 80 mile spin.
Was a bit reluctant to go into first gear after initial start up. No problems after. Brakes good and happy with the way it rode on the 170 rear tyre (160 standard ? ) suspension felt fine. The handlebar risers and extended screen made the bike seem very comfortable
With no vibration through the grips or seat. Did not feel the nèed to stretch my legs out once so a real bonus. Full remus (no cat )
Was a tad noisy but not to the extent it bothered me. Over 5000 revs it did seem a bit less well mannered than the standard exhaust I sèem to remember. There always a bit of a trade off when you change stuff from the manufacturers specifications.
Power was well down on my MT09 tracer but that was to be expected at 30bhp down. The renewal cost on my tracer went fron £220.00 to £760.00 due to my age so it had to go. The R1100s came in at £160.00 on classic insurance so it was a no brainer for me. Overall I am extremely happy with my new ride.
Best regards Paul
