Well once more this years resolution was to hit the Keto diet hard again, and since the 1st January I'm pleased to say I've dropped 31lbs :)

Well done Steve. I should really try to drop about 20 kilos to be closer to my advised BMI range. What does a typical day on your keto diet look like?

Cheers,

Paul

I'm hitting it hard at present and losing 1lbs a day so combining keto with fasting. As such one meal a day during the working week. Typically my evening meal will be tuna and chicken mayonnaise with green salad. Alternatives are steak or boiled eggs or chicken breast and green salad.

After a while I get used to one meal a day. Occasionally have a mug of Bovril at lunchtime in work.

Main thing is no carbs/sugars, pulses, rice, potatoes, pasta, bread, fruit, underground veg etc.

Very important is going to bed early, as you literally breath out fat while sleeping :D

"The researchers showed that during weight loss, 84 percent of the fat that is lost turns into carbon dioxide and leaves the body through the lungs, whereas the remaining 16 percent becomes water, according to the study published today (Dec. 16) in a special Christmas issue of the medical journal BMJ." ref https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna56630474

Keto of course means no beers :( but spirits are ok so I have a Laphroaig nightcap.

Weekend evening treat will be two steaks and a half bottle of dry red wine with some nice cheeses to follow.

And weirdly enough Sunday morning treat is bacon, eggs, sausage and mushrooms (breakfast is keto! )
