Many have asked for a way to donate some money to keep the forum up and running, and I have dilly dallied for quite some time, since I am a little uncomfortable about asking for financial support for the site. FYI, Boxertrix does not generate any form of income for me, or Steve Parry, nor for Gromit before us. The only costs we need to cover to keep the site up and running are the monthly hosting fees. Sadly, your donations won't give you any special privileges or new features on the site, but you can bask in the knowledge that you are helping to keep the plates spinning.
I have now set up a link on PayPal at https://www.paypal.me/Boxertrix which you can use to chip in funds for the running of the site. Anything you wish to contribute will be gratefully received. Equally, if you do not wish to contribute, that is also perfectly fine
All the best,
Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
Ian, Phil, many thanks for your generous donations.
Anyone else interested in making a financial contribution to the site running costs can also do that by purchasing a tee-shirt or mug from Emporio Boxertrix, over on Teespring. That way, you get also something tangible for your hard earned cash in addition to my eternal gratitude.
Cheers,
Paul

Good point, well made about the site being a valuable resource. The knowledge from the others on the site has helped me out on several occasions.
Donation sent with thanks.
Many thanks to all of you who have sent donations or bought shirts over the past couple of days. Those contributions to the site running costs are all very much appreciated.
All the best,
Paul

Hi Paul, a long overdue deposit has been sent to the coffers, partly a penance for not wanting a T shirt despite your best efforts of persuasion and in appreciation of your commitment to the upkeep of the site.
As a lot of us here are of a mature age we are hopefully not too far down the pecking order to be used for test purposes and will be allowed out to play next year, until then stay safe, Merry Christmas and a Happy new year, I think that covers most things
