Very optimistic... but new top end sports bikes costing twice as much as they did back in 2004 make this very clean, very low mileage example look good value for money. £1600 buys you scrappers these days. He may well get 5.5k for that. Good luck to him if he does. Anyone in the know may be advised to pick up an R1200r (RS) lc for a little more and a far better bike in every department.
