Morning
I've broken the lung which holds the nearside rear indicator into its bracket on the R1100s

#clumsyfool
I've cable tied it on for now to hold it in place but does anyone know if other BMW's have the same indicator so I can widen my search on e-bay ?
Cheers

I think that they are unique to the R1100S
Is it just the 'holder' that is broken?
Pt No. 63 13 2 306 801 TURN INDICATOR HOLDER

That's great I didn't know you could just replace the stem, I'm always breaking mine in the garage.
Found them at Motorworks.

So I dropped in to the local stealer on Friday and picked up a rear holder to replace the bodged RHS one on my 1100S
Figured that the connector was somewhere under the luggage grid area, so lots of bolts, panels and the rack later later........it appears to be buried deep in the wiring loom.
A quick crosshead screwdriver later and the lens off the indicator and there are a couple of small spade connectors in the indicator itself.
Basically changing the holder is only a crosshead screwdriver job! DOH!
