sargent seat

hi
i have a sargent seat on my 1100s and want to fit the seat cover i have
i managed to get the fittings for the standard seat but thet are not the same
anyone else had this problem?

As far as I know, the fittings were the same for all years.
There was a mod done by some guys to make the fitting more secure, rather than just using a coin to unscrew them.
Have a look on the oem site at the diagrams? Might point you in the right direction.

I definitely remember someone from this very forum making a more secure fitting - perhaps using ni locks?

There were two different types of fittings used to hold on the seat cover. The first type were only used for the first year or possibly two of production, then they changed to a marginally more secure locking system. If you take along the ones you already have which don't work on your Sargent seat then your local BMW dealership should be able to sort you out with a pair of the other sort of locking bolts, assuming of course that Sargent used the BMW OEM locking bolts in the first place.
