Bargain battery.

Just bought an Exide 12-19 gel battery from an eBay seller - listing has it at £49, seller accepted my offer of £40, including delivery. Not a bad price really - BMW want an extra £134.90 for one, although theirs does come with an extra 12 months warranty and a BMW logo on it! :lol:

It's listed for the 1100S/RS, 1100/1150/1200RT, 12/1300GT, 1600GT and 1150GS/GSA amongst others.

I asked the seller where he'd sourced them, after it was pointed out to me that they could be fakes. Apparently, they were a bulk-buy of units with water-damaged packaging - my box was a bit wonky!

+1 for Tayna, have got two from them and excellent service. One for the S1 and one for the R12, about £40 - £50 each, both AGM.
