Engine rebuild,

Hi all new on here had quite a few R1100 's , keep buying other bikes but keep coning back to the boxer, can anyone reccomend an engine rebuilder/refurbisher for a tired R1100 Cher's Tony

Check this thread on UKGSER - the engine was buggered with a cross threaded sump bolt, but stripped down, repaired, and then reassembled. There are contacts in the thread as to who did it.

Also Steptoe may be able to help.
He is in London some where.

I dont live in the UK but both of them seem to do good work, Steptoe has a great reputation
