California Superbike School
Took advantage of Bennetts offer of California Superbike School training morning at Donington Park. Not on track unfortunately but an interesting morning of throttle control riding a circuit with no brakes. The 12S was ideal with its engine braking.

So why are you called Humbug?
CSS is known to be expensive but most reports I’ve read said it’s worthwhile. A few guys said to just buy the Keith Code book. I would like to do a few days on track just to improve my road riding. Maybe later on this summer.

Re: California Superbike School
Cheaper to book a novice track day and then pay the additional £25 to have one to one instruction on the day. I did this at Cadwell but available on a lot of circuits.
The Keith Code books can be downloaded free from tinternet if you search for them. Twist of the wrist 1 & 2 I think. I’ll see if I can find the link sometime and post. They are a bit heavy going as they were developed for the US Airforce pilots as they had a habit of having accidents on their weekends off wasting millions of dollars of training to fly a fighter. The principles sometimes take a bit of head scratching before they make sense.

As Humbug says - The Keith Code books are really good, but are a bit heavy going at times.
He also wrote "The Soft Science of Road Racing Motorcycles" which is also worth a read if you can find it.
