Steve knows me as a technophobe, but I tried all that in the posting pics thread and I still couldn't get it to work.
Probably some setting or other on my PC.
So I hope you have better luck than me.

Do you get any error message during the process?
If not, what stage does the process fail at, e.g. uploading to tinypic, copying the image reference over (the bit), or having done that, does it just not display?
If you get as far as copying the IMG reference over, what happens when you click on the preview button? Does your image display in preview?
If you have an IMG reference that is not displaying anything, please copy it into a reply below, so we can check it and make sure it's formatted correctly.

It's fairly straightforward, if you have a file on your computer containing the image you want to add to our post:
- in the "post a reply" window, take a look below the text composition box and you'll see a tab labeled "Attachments". Click on that and then the "Add files" button, so select the file you want to upload.

- screen1.jpg (123.81 KiB) Viewed 7269 times
- Once you have added your file, place your cursor in the text composing box at the point you want to place the file and hit the "place inline" button

- screen2.jpg (169.92 KiB) Viewed 7269 times
That's it. The only problem will be if you try to upload a huge image from your 20 megapixel camera. In that case you will need to reduce the size of the image before uploading it.
