I read on the forum that you can't stray into there until you've made 10 Posts. When I reach the magic number, I'll put a request in there.Humbug wrote:Welcome along, wanted's are normally posted in the 'bits n bobs for sale' section Adam
Thanks, I'll have a lurk on there. Otherwise, the new sticky rubber I was going to fit onto the Trials bike this winter will have to wait and I'll bite the bullet.andy griff wrote:Adam - there is a great R1200RS forum on the 'net, called R1200RS forum...and i just sold a pair of pillion grab handles on there yesterday - they are like hens teeth, and will run you £250 from BMW. Good luck
That would be good, thanks. I get down to Nesscliffe quite frequently to go climbing. There's a secret bike collection coming up for sale in Shrawardine soon. I was down there two weeks ago with a mate, giving the widow some idea of value. My mate came away with a Triumph GT6 that was parked in a corner of the barn. I'll let you know more about the auction when I've got permission to 'go public'. My little prize that the widow gave me was a copy of 'Chassis Design' by Tony Foale, a book often regarded as The Bible by frame builders.SP250 wrote:Welcome along.
I guess you'll have already met Steve (moderator of this parrish) if you bought the bike from Chester BMW.
There are a few of us around locally (I'm down by Nesscliffe) who get together for the odd ride and a pie and pint or a curry.
Be good to meet up sometime.
