Wanted: Source of a pair of "known good" injectors R1100SBCR

After having my injectors refurbished a couple of years ago (after a suspected contaminated fuel incident), the bike is playing up again losing power above 2000rpm (previously the 'clog' was noticable at 4500rpm and cleared by flushing out the system and cleaning the injectors, for a while)
I have a 2nd R1100S but its running a treat and I don't want to risk knackering my only other "known good" set... so does anyone know a good breaker with R1100 injectors I can buy to experiment with, and what are they worth these days (as I recall going for the £40 cleaning option 2 years ago because a new pair were well over £250)
Thanks

Thanks Steve - I take it that is a specialist in cleaning and refurbing them?
What about used Boxerparts suppliers - any recommended suppliers these days?
Also are all the R1100 injectors the same model of injectors? eg S R RT GS etc, although my S BCR's are later 2004 and 2005 twin spark models respectively (there is a lot to be said for the earlier '02 BCR single spark these days - after diagnosing stick coils and ancillaries associated with twin spark system on mine - more to go wrong ,and I suspect BMW went twin spark in response to emissions regs. in US states rather than any other sort of notable performance gain... I would quite happily live without it if I had an earlier BCR).

<snip>
No it's a post about using SAAB ones instead of BMW ones at a fraction of the price

I'm with you now Steve and others thanks and the Saab alternatives would be a great way forward for me on the R1100 thanks V.muxh I will look into this and in my experience it's always worth keeping a spare pair on the shelf, or even taking them in the tool kit on tour! I was luck last time I took my original NVR to the Black Forest touring, injectors played up before and again after I got back, I would have been stuffed in between, and it would have spoilt my enjoyment riding that wonderful B500 road in this region. I'm off again to Germany and Austria in May and trying to get a good Boxer together again to go on again. Currently work in progress ...

So going back to the SAAB injectors - are these viable - any other mods. required to plugs or electronics, where is a good source for them and is anyone actually using them on a late R1100S sucessfull?
The link also shows two versions - which would work best?
Thanks.

Never thought of using my Boxerdesign paddock stand that way!! Stops the side stand fouling. I also use that stand for my 12s to do bevel oil. Marvelous piece of kit

Are the original injectors not just Bosch part number 0280155788 . They seem to be readily available , and apparently what you really need is a matched pair (in terms of flow rate) .

Thanks I'll bare that in mind and probably get a pair.
What is the typical price of an OEM pair from BMW, and how does that compare with the compatible "SAAB" variant?
Any known good mail order sources for any of these - or any recommended local agents such as "German/French/Swedish" parts for example
After cleaning out my fuel system and changing my filter again - I was thinking of going for a new pair or Saab units and trying the bike from there.
As this is becoming a fairly regular "failure" on my boxers - I'm tempted to make up a test rig to check for spray pattern at home to determin condition and help clean them out at home. I would be interested to hear from anyone that has done this (I've seen a few Youtube videos and its not rocket science so tempted to have a go)

Just a heads up. There is a group buy thread on UKGSer for the 1200 injector kit. Have a read.

.. interesting thanks... so it looks like R1200 injectors might be the way to go and this place do the complete conversion kit:
http://www.jt-c.com/product_info.php?in ... x-injector
as its quite a bit cheaper I might explore the Saab componments first which look like they might go straight on.
Thanks for the pointers though - i will get to the bottom of it at some point (but i'm onto my starter problem at the moment on my other r1100S I had just setup for a tour to Europe in May - there's always something).
