I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that....but Mr. Koenig really should've been shot for this monstrosity!

the 80's at it's best. I had a Koenig twin turbo Testarossa overtake me on the autobahn once. I was doing 120mph and it made me look like I was going backwards

You do have to wonder just what he'd been drinking to make him think that his creation was an improvement on the original! A mate had one of the last ones (Hi Line?) in dark metallic blue, it looked gorgeous. :)

And speaking of BMWs, I owned one of these up until '96. same as the burgundy-coloured one....I really should've kept it. It had belonged originally to a member of the Saudi royal family who was hoofed out of the UK in the 60's for supplying cocaine in London - his diplomatic status saved him from prison - and I had a file of press cuttings from, I think, The Mirror, showing him with the car in Mayfair just before he left for home. :)
