Sunday I head off to Portsmouth , a break in Spain is calling ....

No Job , so may as well search the internet from there ....

Take my Red beauty , new boots on it , fresh oil and filter

I will leave her there , and transfer it onto spanish plates .

I had a brilliant days ride yesterday .

860 km from Bilbao down to Jacarilla .

Rode steady indicated 80mph , 126 km/h on the sat nav

I met a Scot , on the ferry , riding a Ducati ST4 who was going down just west of Murcia, so we tagged along together.

Great to have a riding buddy .

One heavy rain shower , about 30kms , early on a few kms of mist , and a bit of buffetting head wind .

But all the miles I've been riding on Al's old bike were good training.

No stiffness, no neck ache , just obviously fatigue.

All good roads, no aggressive driving against us .

Just stopped every 100 / 120 miles to fill up , have a few mouth fulls of coke etc.

Lunch stop in a services outside Madrid .

Now , wake up this morning and its pouring with rain ...

My car is at Alicante Airport ....

Have to bum a lift down there some time to fetch the car .
