Dear all,
I know it iwas a question raised on Y*hoo but I wasn't listening at the time, SO............please advise what type of stand you can recommend for the S.
Now that the longer Ohlins is on the back and the shorter paralever arm is fitted, my centrestand is worse than useless. The Honda one I have wont fit. I seem to recall ABBA was one thought from some.
Many thanks
Lloyd

Abba do a stand, I have one and it is very good. And if you do, do the unthinkable and sell your 'S' then you can use it on other bikes (with the adaptor)

Looks like becker should enter the shopping dash at Tesco's with a contraption like that.

That's good news Andrew - the Laser pipe I'm after for the Roadster means losing the centrestand and I've got an Abba sat in my garage. Wasn't aware that the BM adapters are now available (the R uses the same pivot points as the S).
Bloody superbly made piece of kit the Abba stand - highly recommended.

Spot on Lloyd - have a decko
here
I bought mine when I had my Speed Triple - once on the stand it would have taken a bomb going off to knock it over. Sturdy it is.

Tried the abba stand for the first time today without much success - due mainly to the longer ohlins rear shock on the rear combined with the slightly longer sports sidestand. The floor section cannot reach in front of the sidestand and as the lift is operated the sidestand lug snags in the top of the triangular section and stops the system rolling over to the rest position. Anyone else had this problem ? Advice appreciated, many thanks

Why don't you make one or have one made. I did and it works a treat. Got the design of a dutch chap. It uses bobbins which attach to the rear foot rests. I can email you the plans and post some piccys if some one can host them.
