Front suspension question

Just ordered a new front shock from wilbers, and they rang back to ask wether i had the shorter front suspension struts on my bike.
No idea that there was ant difference ( apperently neither did wilbers until last year) , so any ideas please - 2005 BCR

I think the front end is from a GS - that is what I was told. Apparently changed from the Mamola BCR cos the racers were getting the heads down too easily - I do stand to be corrected - I'm usually wrong!!

I know they have the GS forks which are longer, but no idea about the linkage/ strut , hence the question

Try part no 630-0419-01 Type 630 ...20 mm higher

if they know theres a difference , ask them how to tell the two apart ,, just a thought.
