RWB BCR and was wanting to keep it as original as possible. However the ali? 'dash' area around the key area has some marks. Would jeweler's rouge be suitable to get rid of the scratches or something similar? or would a carbon fibre 'dash pad' be a suitable addition without it looking too 'bling'. Also unsure if the front of the engine needs similar treatment or use a carbon fibre cover?

If you want a "faux carbon" cover I have one you can have just need to get some double sided tape to stick it on. Genuine carbon BMW yoke protectors are available - think I paid about £26 ish for mine

what ever you do , then just add some helicopter tape over it , its like super thick half sticky sellotape , sort of ultra heavy duty phone screen cover ,,, you can buy it from flea bay and cut it to shape ,,, makes great tank pad and knee pads too.
its not a boxer , its a 180 degree v-twin
