The rig seemingly hadn't read the bit in the fine print about being able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear... :D

That's spookily similar to my moment over the summer - luckily in my case the bend was the other way so the approaching broadside tractor plus load of hay went off away from me...

Hindsight, I know - but perhaps the fella in the truck (speaking to the woman) - should have run ahead and set a warning, or waved down approaching traffic?

Yeah, you're not going to be doing any good by just sitting around waiting for someone to come through and do exactly that...seems like the semi was moving a little fast for such a windy road with no shoulder guards.
